Just like the band, Caligagan’s music is a miscegenation, a subtle alchemy between pop music, folk and reggae. The band is composed by Anthony Caligagan, singer and songwriter, Leopoldo Giannola, (guitarist and co-composer) and Enrico Calandrelli (guitarist, background vocals and co-composer aswell). Sebastien Bouland on the drums and background vocals, Antonio Sgro on bass. The band delivers an electro/acoustic kind of music, energetic and soft at the same time, with simple and effective melodies. Anthony, lead singer, originally from Sweden, speaks five different languages. Citizen of the world, he gives us his voice through his musical conquests, and makes us travel to different continents. This universality offers to the band the legitimacy of presenting his peaceful talk with lyrics that talk about love and the respect between people. “Give to Get” is his philosophy. His first contract with an Italian label led him to Midem in Cannes and allowed him to meet his producer Philippe Delmas. His first album “Seven Languages” was released in February 2006 (Acapella/Nocturne). Caligagan's new opus “The Naked Garden” (2011) is produced by Gregory Darling (producer songwriter & artist) who has also worked with Julian Lennon.
