When Boris Sarcey their french producer (and also composer of the songs) talked to me about what he was recording during is visits in Cuba, I was expecting a Salsa more conventional. But I should have been aware that with his previous works, from Ubik, Tobo to Étienne Daho, and with his love for people like Timmy Thomas and Massive Attack that the guy was more to give an electric spicy sauce with his Kalamar recipe. »
