"En vrac" was born in 2004 from the meeting of an accordion and a band of 4 good friends. Marion at the flute, Fabrice at the accordion and piano, Manu at the second accordion and percussion and Philippe at the guitar and vocals. Starting with covers playing, the first concerts in bars and the street take them quickly to concert halls. The group grows, welcoming new multi-instrumental musicians : Agnes at the violin, alto saxophone and musical saw, Greg on tenor saxophone, drums and guitar, Alex on bass and Myriam at the piano and accordion.
"En vrac" becomes "en vrac et d’ailleurs", it is the end of the cover period, they now perform their own compositions venue after venue, and make people dance or even jump in an atmosphere always joyfull and friendly.
After 5 years of shows, opening for great bands such as "Ogres de Barback", "Hurlements de Léo", or the "Ministère des affaires populaires"... "En vrac et d’ailleurs" finally released its first self-produced album in May 2009.
