The winning of a battle of the bands contest offers them the recording of their 1st demo officially revealing them as a serious band on the metal scene and gathering warm acclaim from the press and general crowd.
Concerts follow, fan base grows bigger, EON acquire a stage band reputation. Their notoriety keeps spreading ; invitation on various compilations «Sans Moderation» and «Sudcore» as well as on local radio stations and festivals.
A wave is growing ; to canalize and develop its potential, they create associative collective «INNERCORE», responsible for many concerts in the Toulon region.
An EP (Brutal Awakening) is recorded and released throughout France in 2004 on label Disagree Records, the feedback from specialized press is excellent and gigs take place all over France and Switzerland. The rage and energy the five piece show live grant them a bigger stage notoriety namely next to Black Bomb A, Seven Hate, L'esprit Du Clan, Inside Conflict, Dagoba, Eths, Fischer, Munkyposse, Romeo Is Bleeding, Artefact, Punish Yourself...
