Fanel's sound sways between technology and tradition, creating a singular pop music around traditional instruments, synthetic beats et voices expressing themselves in english and japanese.
Created in May 2013 by Bérangère Sentex, Fanel could be a combination of Imogen Heap and Nosfelle writing songs for Miyazaki.
The first EP "The Mirror" released in April 2014 has been recorded and produced by Baptiste Bouchard (Cats on Trees, MOPA...) featuring Nina Goern (Cats on Trees) on piano.
On stage, Fanel is a three feet band with Léa Costantino on drums and Guillaume Virelaude on piano.
Supported by Lo Bolegason (Castres) and Avant-Mardi (Toulouse), Fanel had an audition for the famous music competition Les Inouis du Printemps de Bourges in Toulouse.
