From the older mountains of Auvergne, Garciaphone develops a sound universe that flirts with the best of the American songwriting.
Originally a trained drummer, Olivier Perez initiated the Garciaphone project in 2007 when living in Oslo, right after returning from a 3-week tour of the United States with the New-Yorker Charles Zerner. It was a few years before, when in Mexico City without his original rhythmic instrument that he had started composing on the guitar.
