Author, composer and performer, founder of the Carnaval Indépendant Niçois (Nice’s alternative carnival) and lead singer with the Nice reggae band NUX VOMICA, Louis Pastorelli has always drawn his inspiration from the social community, history, culture and oral traditions of his home town. In addition, he is totally committed to the revival of Occitan culture launched by Massilia Sound System and Fabulous Trobadors in the 1980s. With Gigi de Nissa, Louis Pastorelli has decided to revisit his song repertoire by taking a more personal, more individualistic approach.
