Im Takt's electronic music merges pop melodies with binary rhythms, energy with fantasy, shining stars with molten lava, thus defining a Krautpop universe.
On stage, the energy that flows from titles like "AfriKa" or "Buttons" pixelates the air, destabilizes passing drones and divides semiquavers to initiate dancing even in people most reluctant to embrace robotic trance. Nestled near the tight rhythms of LCD Soundsystem, Im Takt belongs to the wave of young bands from the 2010s who keep in touch with their 1980s roots.
Formed at the end of 2009 and winner of the "Tremplin des Jeunes Charrues" 2010 for midland Brittany (Centre-Bretagne), Im Takt releases his first EP the 4th of April.
