imagho started in 1997 when I borrowed a 4-tracks k7 recorder from a friend - it never stopped since then, except that the k7 turned into an 8 track, then a hard-disk recorder and eventually a laptop...
imagho is all about creating sound vignettes with things I like, including guitars, field recording, weird sounds... It's a music I play and record alone, except when I work on an entire album with other musicians (such as french acts ULTRAMILKMAIDS & FRAGILE).
Two cd were issued under the name of imagho (on FBWL and LOOM REC), plus one cdr on HITOMI RECORDINGS. Several tracks appear on V/A cd's and cdr's. Two cds were also issued in collaboration with the two acts I quoted above...On april 2 2008, a new album, "inside looking out", will be issued, on the french We Are Unique Records label. It will be released as a double cd, including a free 18 tracks compilation of the best tunes from imagho's first ten years.
I also play in Frzimagho, a free improvisation duet with guitars & laptops, Baka!, another duet (experimental noises vs live electronics), Secret Name, an accoustic duet in which I sing and play the guitar and also Sketches of Pain (a coldnoise trio).
