Born in a small village South West of England, Ixi very early discovers a nomadic way of life and leaves everything at 17 to hit the road with her friends horses and carts. In 1991 she meets the itinerant Sound System Spiral Tribe and soon embarks with them thus learning of the joys of DJing.
Forced to come back to the continent, Spiral Tribe then perform everywhere in Europe. Initiated to electronic instruments by Crystal Distortion and 69db, Ixi will from now on present her live set at every "party''. After touring in all corners of Europe and producing many LP's on labels Spiral Tribe and Network23, Ixi, now with a family, settles in the South of France and creates her own base for experimentations - Audiotrix (www.audiotrix.org) - while collaborating with le Perce Oreille and le Passe-Muraille among others.
Since then, she hasn't stopped performing live, both in underground and overground (and multiplying productions.
As realistic as optimistic, Ixindamix offers a playful and feminine breakbeat/techno where elements combine into nervous and spontaneous equations. A live music which regenerates by subdividing itself. Striking. Hypnosis. Paroxysm... Cyberdelic Techobeatz...
