JAH LEGACY, was created in 2002 and comes from Saint-Raphaël, South of France.
Manu, the singer is writer and composer.
As soon as he gathers his fellow musicians the band start performing on stage.
Resulting in 2005 in their 1st album «Loving for ever ».
The band push things further in 2006,with more touring in their region (PACA), thus acquiring a regional recognition. They namely opened for THE GLADIATORS, POSITIVE ROOTS BAND, MAXXO, Riké, GNAWA DIFFUSION, PEP'S, RASTA BIGOUD, and took part in a workshop with DJAMBI (Brazil) & PRINCESS ERIKA.
JAH LEGACY take a decisive turn in 2007 and parts with some of its musicians for purely artistic reasons.
Manu & Chacha, the founding members, reshape the formation with mature musicians to evolve towards a new repertoire, going deeper into their sensitivity to create their own musical colour, not forgetting their dearest style based on the grooves of roots Reggae...
Their 2nd album, recorded at COX IN HELL studio and mastered at GLOBE AUDIO was released in December 2009.
