Jaromil is the name of the main character in Life is Elsewhere by Milan Kundera, and is also the name of this indie pop band based between Macon and Dijon. Strongly influenced by the unbridled mind of the Czech writer they dwell in this world we all share. On Stage, after a long loop-based intimate duo with female singer Flo, Jaromil have taken a rock turn including Piero on drums, Xavier on bass, David on violin and Flo on sweet and sexy backing vocals. When they perform, Jaromil want to build a bridge between gloomy post-rock and messy belgian disco-rock. After spending summer of 2007 composing new tracks and integrating new guitarist Benjamin the always evolving four-piece band now boast a brand new set in concert.
