Junior Cony

Veteran of the underground and alternative rock stage and of 80's sound-systems, Junior Cony first started mixing or on machines and keyboards of LV88, RBB, Bérurier-Noir, Les Oidgts, Sergent Garcia and many more... He also collected sound experimentations for more than 20 years, tasting every kind of music without blindfolds or prejudice. With "Inna roots tradition" and "At The Government Shop", released by Crash in 2003, he brilliantly produces pure dub tinted digital reggae dub, topped with Shanti D.'s and Mr Irie's vocals on 2nd album. High level of instrumentation, precise constructions, perfect beat, ethereal take-offs, all the ingredients of the most mature and accomplished reggae sound are gathered to create genuine modern standards. Two other albums in the same vein will follow : "Peacemonger" at FZM in 2006 and "The Meaning Of Life", auto-produced in 2008.
