Since the release of his critically acclaimed and sound system (IRATION STEPPAS) hit 1st album "Don't stop dub !" early 2005, KANKA has been considered as the spearhead of the "steppa" dub scene in France. With his percussive and ultra efficient style, KANKA have conquered many fans with their new album, "ALERT", expected by dub addicts from all the world.
The 12 tracks composing the new opus gather all that makes the force of KANKA : dynamic rhythmics, heavy and hypnotic bass, energetic electro sounds... Warrior style ! Even if the music of KANKA draws its influences from original reggae-dub, the modernity of the production and the catchy drum rhythms may just win the heart of both electro and reggae audiences with the promise of a powerful trance.
