LA K-BINE “10 years of rap independent and committed”
To summarize the course of LA K-BINE in some lines is not easy thing.
One can say to start that LA K-BINE they is 15 produced and diffused discs independently, the participation in more than 150 projects (mixtapes, compile…) in 10 years, as well as a first round in all France in 2007-2008 at the side of ESKICIT and AKYE (bboykonsian) as well as SHERYO and PIZKO MC on many dates.
Above all, it is a question of specifying that the name of the rhyme group with “rap conscious, militant and committed” and what makes a characteristic of it is that lasts since 1997, that it is on freestyles of the beginning carried out in the cellars of the 3000 in Aulnay sous Bois, while passing by compilations of Menace Records or De Brazza Records, many the featuring and the albums. One can only note coherence and the concern of being faithful to a guiding line of which they never

LA K-BINE does not follow any tendency, no collaboration begs and is not “buddy” with the elites of the “French rap”. Some will say that it is a “sectarian” attitude but those which have followed the group for more than 10 years know well that it is anything else only one additional proof of their integrity.
Why specify that rap is “conscious for them” or “militant”? Why not simply not say that they make “RAP!!! ” by respecting the identity and the speech of each one? And well simply because the group estimates that its ideas and its thought are not compatible with a certain speech and a certain manner of making and to
conceive the music. To be sympathetic, cool or to come from a city is not enough. The K-BINE “is not the friend of everyone” and this same with the risk to displease with store, radios or Internet sites held by small middle-class men who think of knowing what is the “hip hop” and which is placed in donors of universal lessons under pretext that this culture conveys certain values of peace and love.
LA K-BINE assumes the fact of being regarded by certain as too much “subversive, policy or revolutionists”. “I am the impertinent one, poet of cement, for which militant or utopian is a compliment…” It worms of E.one,
one of their close relation, could describe the Frame of mind of the duet perfectly. In 2006 a new period for the group starts. After many solos projects carried out by SKALPEL one can say to some extent that
the duet is found. To return they decide to produce a new compilation: RAP CONSCIENT and to spend this time much more than on the old discs, their engagements and their ideas ahead. From this will the
disc of support for the political prisoners will be born a few months later from Direct action.
That will make it possible the group to be made a name in a militant medium accustomed to hear much more of the groups of punk committed that conscious rap “red and black”.
Akye of BBOYKONSIAN becomes Dj of the group and E.one of ESKICIT accompanies from now on LA K-BINE on scene as well as PIZKO MC which deals with the majority of the musical productions.
In October 2007 “kommando malik” the third album leaves SKALPEL. The first round of the group “L'Utopie n'est pas un rêve Tour” and many projects (discs, maxis…) accompany this new adventure on scene which will show more than 50 concerts in a few months in all France.
In bars, squats, rooms or in the street the group imposes its vision of France and the world. It clearly expresses its opinions policy and its solidarity in unquestionable worms a number of fights such as for example that of without papers or the fight against the retention centres… In 2008, the machine is launched. A new round “L'Utopie n'est toujours pas un rêve Tour” is set up as from September and a new album “Légitime défense” leaves in January 2009.
