In 2008 while the outlines of her universe become clearer, Lola Baï meets Serge Faubert who suggests her working on her album as director and arranger. After several months of definite and effective work in the studio Music' Halle of Toulouse, Lola Baï shows herself on a first album as high as her ambitions.
"Sur la pointe des pieds" takes us in a singular song universe which borrows from the pop some electro touches. Well written texts, new musics, Lola plays always more, always better with the words and the sounds.
To present this first album to the public, the stage setting was not left thus either at random ; Unusual instruments and other surprises. Lola Baï shared the scene with La Grande Sophie, Amelie les Crayons, Thierry Chazelle, Michael Jones, Singuila, Murray Head or still Gregory Charles on the occasion of an improvised and improbable duet to the theater Bobino in Paris.
