Nicolas Cante is a pianist and an electro musician. Graduated from the Conservatory of Aix-en-Provence in jazz in 2001, then graduated in amplified contemporary music in 2004, he has been working on acoustic and electronic keyboards since many years. His experiments on music and arts led him into the spheres of jazz, improvised music or electronic music, playing with Henri Florens, Nicolas Dick, Tarek Atoui, etc. He also developed numerous collaboration in danse, street theater and other contemporary practices, with Ballet Preljocaj, Gilles Toutevoix, Lieux Publics, etc.
After the Printemps de Bourges 2010 with his project "Mekanik Kantatik", with which he performed fifty shows in two years in France and outside, he released in January 2012 "Improvisium 1.1" (Kantatik Musik & La Meson)
