The Tourcoing born band is based around 2 music fans and brothers : Kim et Kareem.
From concert venues to festivals, Obdurate acquire a solid stage reputation which will quickly lead them to the hottest venues of Switzerland, Austria or Norway.
The MCM/On Board Magazine tour, which took them to the 4 corners of Europe, is a consecration for the band whose will and energy were never questioned!
In parallel, the band record frenetically.
From "First", the genuine 1st album in vinyl format, to the Unplugged one, the Obdu's keep surfing on the punk rock wave. But with "Misty Flip", in 2003, the four piece really broke it to the general public. M6 TV channel will even use their music for a new real TV show. Their spiced up and energetic cover of "Sacré Charlemagne", also finds its way the stages of TV shows.
A year later, Obdurate are back with new album "Burning by the sun"!
Topped with new Jamaican influences or ska beats, Obdurate's musical universe gets more affirmed with committed lyrics, crafted melodies and always more explosive riffs. "Burning by the Sun", is the 1st extract from a 100% Punk Rock album!
