Born from a will to synthesise the cold sounds of British post-punk and the sensitivity of the American 80s indie scene, Le Parti is created around the end of 2006. After a good dozen of concerts alongside Frustration, Retisonic, Monarch, Warum Joe, the Joke, etc ... Le Parti record and auto produce their first eponimous EP during the Spring of 2008. A collaboration with Saint-Etienne-based label Facto-records gives birth to a début album released in Spring 2009.
