Paul Wamo is native of the Nang Clan in Lifou (New Caledonia). He is a cross category artist, we can classify him as a spoken word artist, a poet or a performer, but in reality, he avoids all classification. Between Kanak rhythms and contemporary sounds, his reading and singing, tell us his committed and sensitive lyrics. His poems have been forged by the mouth, they are saliva and breath.
