Rajery is a rare man and an exceptional musician, he has succeeded by dint of determination to become a valiha virtuose and has forged a unique style, stripped, refined and poetic.
Rajery is an author, a composer, interprete, with a rare talent. His art feeds on differents Malagasy musical traditions, but the emotion aroused by his songs and his interpretation is universal. Far from the traditional instruments he used to play a particular Malagasy instrument called the valiha (a 15 cordes harp, from Malagasy folklore), instrument which produces varied sounds when played with dexterity. Native of Indonesia, in Madagascar the valiha is like the kora is in countries of Sahel.
