Rhany was born in 1972, in Marrakech, from a moroccan father and a french -algerian mother.
He left Morocco when he was very young, to settle down in Tunisia where he quickly confirmed his artistic talents.
In Morocco, Rhany is already a star, and his regular appearances on Tunisian and Moroccan TV, as well as a concert at the El Menzeh dome have given him the opportunity to be in the company of big names in arabian music, with singers such as Warda, Mami, Khaled…
Early 1997, Rhany flies off to Paris to register his first album which he will finish recording in Los Angeles later on. Surrounded by talented musicians, the album will come out in 1998. After his Best of album which came out in 1999 in Morocco, Rhany gave many concerts on the biggest stages in Paris, including BERCY.
In 2000, he decides to start working on a new album.
With a passion for latino music, Rhany has managed, after many years of work and research, to mix a « sunny » culture with wild rhythms.
His new album will be recorded in Cuba, at the Egrem studio which is known for producing legendary artists such as Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer, Yuri Buenaventura,…
His cheerful and warm nature compares to his music, a mix of salsa and oriental rhythms.
In 2001, Rhany recieve the Kora Award in Sun City for Best North African Artist.
During his 2007 tour which started in june on the Music Day of Casablanca, his meeting with the moroccan audience is emotionally strong.
He will perform from Tanger to Martil, Eljadida to Oudja where was organized, that summer, the Rai International Festival.
In 2008, he releases the album « Khalouni » and appears en 2009 at the Tolerance Concert in Agadir broadcast on TF1 and TV5 as well as at Davos, Switzerland, the very same year. Anda t the Mawazine, Timatar and many others Festivals.
In 2010, He releases a 13 tracks « Best of » on Kods music label, exclusively as digital sales and prépare for 2011, two news albums. One of his own production for Morocco « Lila » and a second one for France written by Pierre Palamade, a very famous french artist.
In 2011, the "Lila" CD will be released in Morocco, and worldwide digital version released by Kods label on every legal download digital music sites.
