Sandra GODOY sings since she’s 14 years old.
She began her career in her native country, Brazil, and occurs during numerous springboards and official receptions.
She evolves within numerous bands through all Brazil during the first 10 years of her professional career.
Selected during a casting in 1996, she comes to France and becomes captain to the Cabaret " Pau Brasil "show , in Paris.
Her presence in France allows her to meet Giba Gonçalves, Brazilian percussionist well known in Paris, and creates with him the band " TamburLode ".
It is within this training that Sandra GODOY makes her first steps in the composition and the writing and develops her personal performance of the Brazilian music.
In 1999, she creates her own eponymic band of compositions and goes on tour in all Europe.
The LP’s project confirms by a strong need asserting itself as author, composer and interpreter, until come to the realization of the first Album " ESSENCIA " there, in 2003.
Today, she’s writing for a 2nd LP, French folk and Brazilian songs with world music inspiration, available at the end of 2009.
