Vocal innovators, SASHIRD LAO (France) are an exotic trio of vocalist, instrumentalist, percussionist improvisers who were finalists in the National Jazz Music Competition (Paris) and 2007 winners of the Jury's Prize at the International Jazz Festival of Juan Les Pins. With phenomenal artistry and originality, SASHIRD LAO flirt with a breathtaking melange of jazz, world, soul, African and urban grooves, layering voices, horns, percussion and loops.
Sometimes, the three musicians of this trio are, in turn, singers, instrumentists or percussionists whithin a same track. Do not you think this jazz group is simply unique !
