If a band’s career was to be judged upon its capacity to transform fate into destiny, to keep developing its artistic field or to involve itself without limits and without waiting for anyone’s help, Semtazone would be among the chosen few. After « Alles is Durven », their 3rd studio album, in which they covered their tracks and freed themselves of the musical universe of their beginnings in order to come to terms with their taste of a rock music where electrical tension and sweet melody share the top of the bill, the spring of 2009 represents a new landmark. Now a quartet (without bass and flute any more), the drums, guitar, piano, saxophone and voices rearrange and rebuild their music to finally, faithfully, keep nothing but the essential.
