Clément RICHARD was born on April 29 1986 in Aix en Provence. Son of a musician producer, he is in touch from a very young age with the Rock, jazz, progressive rock, blues, electro culture... After 6 years' studying percussions at conservatoire de musique d'Aix en Provence, in 2004, he joins association ENTRE PEAUX. SPIKY The Machinist creates Label BLACK CASTLE MUSIC and becomes the label's and studio's artistic manager and producer. This is where he finds the freedom to create and interpret his own compositions without limits.
He settles his own style and is quickly solicited by many artists for instrumentals and other riddims. Thus come to life numerous and various collaborations : BIONIC MAN SOUND, ALIBI MONTANA, K-1, Le VERDICT, BOOZOO (Doc.Gynéco), Procès Verbal, BASS VEGAS Parano...
Shows and tours follow throughout Europe and gradually, his hot performance and amazing backline stun all audiences ! He is invited to prestigious venues : Centre Pompidou (Paris) les plages électroniques (Cannes), selected by «Alter Native Stage» for Midem 2009 amongst the 20 best European DJ representing an alternative music independent label.
Besides his artistic collaborations? his personal project resembles an imaginary boat, a musical station, a hero taking the audience to a universe where words a useless, where music and sounds are enough to tell a "fantastic" story. The rare samples become mere gimmicks, the solid rhythmic becomes a farce, even out of place breaks and take-offs where cultures intertwine and collide.
It all comes together quickly and hits you right in the face.
