Pianist and composer, Stephan Oliva started making a name for himself in the jazz world in the early 90's, through his work in trio based on his compositions.
Most of his subsequent record projects were based on personalities who'd left their mark on his personal musical history; they included some of the great jazzmen such as Bill Evans, Lennie Tristano, Paul Motian and film music.
He is currently back in his own private universe, a sure indication of his return to composition.
