After the release of their colorful original album "Attentat Musical" in 2004, La Tchoucrav' (a name derived from the french gypsy term "chouraver..." which means "stealing") has returned to their roots: taking their favorite smash hit pop rock songs and putting a fresh spin on them in their new album Regg'n'Roll, 2008.
The definition of Regg'n'Roll: (etym.) Regg=reggae, 'n'=and, roll=rock'n'roll. It's a mix of reggae and rock'n'roll, the verses make you move the hips, the chorus make you bob your head. On the album, like on stage (where their performances are inspired), the powerful rhythm section of the Delannet brothers and the refined guitar playing of Vincent "Tahiti Bob" Lucas, combine with the harmonious vocals characteristic of the band, transports the listener with high energy to a place of good vibes and good times.
La Tchoucrav', "Regg'n'Roll", is the musical love child of the Van Halen of the 70's that was conceived with Bob Marley on an idyllic hot sweaty summer night, listening « Etoile des neiges » by Line Renaud...
