Created in 1996 ( then under name Prostat ), the band find their real colour in 1998 by changing their name and line up ( following the departure of David Fontaine after the recording of Rapture ) : "TiM", a trio.
TiM have never ceased to evolve in their compositions, as SLOY's fanzine qualified " Electric " : " A very rare and personal rock music impossible to define ". In 2003, the trio is topped by a brass section ( alto sax and trumpet ) which once more allows their music to evolve towards new horizons . Since the brass experience Tim has come back to more noise songs (à la Sonic Youth play with Shellac) ; in a nutshell, the band keep evolving always very personally far from all musical formats and fashions....
