Zhalem came into being at the end of 2010, arising from several sources. The members of the group are real adventurers who feel the need to explore all kinds of ways in music. By doing so Zhalem creates a new and interesting music at a crossroad of different styles such as rock, pop, electro rock, soul and triphop. And thus it definitely deserves a place in the vast realm of present-day music! Zhalem's style is characterized by a powerful female voice that combines melodies and rich harmonies. In October 2012, after a long gestation period, the group presents its first album, 'Second Skin', produced by Subwave Records.
