Founded in 2007, The Squared Circle is a band shaped by multiple influences and by a common taste for melodies that allow music to develop in spheres of intermingled sweetness and violence. The Squared Circle draws its inspiration from the Velvet’s dissonances, the BJM’s melodies, Jefferson Airplane’s wildness... Despite a promising beginning, the band splits and its members begin new projects… a long period of torpor in a cellar begins. In 2011 two of the former band members, Arno and Tibo (The RocKandys) meet Manolo (Modern Folks) and Fred (Les lutins patates de l’espace, Picore). The magic happens, life is back in the cellar.
