Created at Europa Jazz Festival in Spring 2009, the new quartet of Claude Tchamitchian fits his will to work on material with a lighter line up (unlike his bigger project Lousadzak). Thus allowing the exploration of new sound universes through a more mobile play (the themes are not played according to an order but according to collective improvisation). Though the leader's melodic and harmonic touch can still be strongly heard here, he however takes news paths close to rock and pop music.
