Its goal is to help them develop, become professional and support them with adapted tools. Multidisciplinary by essence, Basaata productions does not care for categories : Hip-hop, reggae, poetry, emerging urban cultures, slam, chanson. Basaata productions is always keen to explore new horizons ; with Africa as central point from the start, in the West just like in Maghreb, Basaata productions likes guttural sound : Positive Black Soul, Raggasonic, Born Jamericains, Harragas, Sapho, Haoussa could tell you about it.
More than a simple anti-conformist coordinator by vocation, Basaata knocks on doors to open the ears of an always wider audience and make help the recognition of these artists by the musical industry : EMI, Sony, Warner, East West, Universal, Musicast, Naïve, Because Music, Frémeaux et ass.......
Basaata productions does not "own" artists and never impose anything whatsoever; freedom and exchange have always been the key words of its approach from the very start. Hence a real authenticity, an artistic line driven only by exigence and quality.
