Originally created to support the musical creations of the brad band Docteur Lester, Les ImproFreeSateurs grows and develops projects around the brass band and its musicians: orchestras, regular creations in relation to the theater or video, guest artists, artistic and educational interventions (young people/pupils, elementary school, music schools, jails, charity concerts ...).
Through its various creations, Les ImproFreeSateurs intends to promote contemporary jazz music related with other musics: free music, rock, European and elsewhere (with the claimed refusal to distinguish musics called "popular" and others called "academic"!), it marks a musical open-mindedness and willingness to discover musical horizons without sectarianism or segregation.
