Label Platinum was created in 1996. A time when international electronic music gets strongly influenced by the new French scene, golden age of the French Touch which touches every country in the world, sending its d-jays to clubs all over the globe. Platinum prefer to draw their own path and produce more experimental music, likely to satisfy both the mind's and the body's appetites, always with clearly rock foundations. The adventure starts with Bosco and Curtis. Platinum also lay the first foundations of the current electro scene combining electro fiddlings, sound collages or 80s electro revival. The signatures then followed with Rubin Steiner and his crazy electro jazz collages, Mouloud, Zimpala,... but also Présidentchirac or le Pingouin.
