Beñat Achiary, singer and percussionist, was born in the Pays Basque in 1947. Proud representative of the Basque language and of oral expression, his musical universe and desires to encounter other artists brought him to the frontiers of tradition, jazz and improvisation. Remarkable stage performer, he also teaches at Conservatoire de Bayonne and manages the Errobiko Festibala festival of Itxassou.
