After he studied the cello and graduated at the Marseilles Conservatoire (France), he furthered and improved his training under the guidance of Professor Jean De Spengler and at the University of Montreal (Canada) with Thérèse Motard. Next, Emmanuel Cremer continues his studies in composition and arrangement and finally turns to jazz and improvisation throughout various and numerous collaborations :
He works on a great variety of European stages with the Emir Collective of double bass player Barre Philips, guitar player Raymond Boni, sax Joe McPhee (Terronès, Blue Marge–Socadisc, 2004), with Jean-Marc Montera, the Stanislas string quartet , Gustavo Ovalles, Gerald Zbinden, violin player Baltazar Montanaro, performs with the American piano player Denman Maronnay, Taylor Ho Binum, Alexander Bruck, Wilfrido Terrazas, Carmina Escobar and in solo ( Coma, Alambik Musik).
He regularly performs on French stages, as well as in Germany, Belgium, Mexico, the U.S.A and Canada.
